Employment Benefits
Employee Catalog Discount
One of our favorite benefits is our employee discount. This discount allows
you to purchase catalog items for yourself, your spouse and dependent children. You
may also buy a reasonable number of items as gifts for your friends and family. Your
purchase price is just a small percentage above the company's cost plus a small charge
for shipping and handling.
Employee Outlet/Inlet Discount
Employees receive an additional 10% off each purchase you make at any of our outlet/inlet
stores. When you are in Dodgeville, you can shop at the Company Store where you'll
find various catalog and sample merchandise, returns and items from our other businesses.
Discount Tickets
Discount Tickets and special passes are available for area amusement parks, museums,
movie theaters, and wholesale clubs. Employees and interns can buy these tickets
and pick up free passes throughout the year.
Health Promotion Program
We are strong believers in a healthy lifestyle and sponsor a wide range of activities
and fitness programs for our employees, interns, and guests. Our program's centerpiece
is the activity center in Dodgeville. This facility is open to all employees, their
immediate families & up to two guests. While you are with us you can take advantage
of our indoor pool or join one of our numerous intermural leagues for basketball,
volleyball or soccor. You can also workout on the latest fitness equipment, all while
watching your favorite TV programs on our brand new cardio-theatre. Or "jump"
around in one of our many aerobic classes.
Internship Benefits
Paid Internships
All interns will be paid and can look forward to participating in a variety of
workshops and training experiences.
Housing
Lands' End will pay for security deposits, plus reimburse acceptable travel expenses.
However, Interns will be expected to pay for their own housing.
Activities
Since many interns come to Lands' End from all over the country, we give you many
opportunities to get to know one another. Everything from cookouts, to volleyball,
to baseball games, we want to make sure you are having fun as well while you are
here!
Internal Seminar Series (ISS)
All interns and recently hired professional employees are invited to take part in
this program. This seminar series provides an opportunity to learn about Lands'
End business functions and department responsibilities, through a series of presentations
by Lands' End Vice-Presidents and Directors. You will gain a foundation in how we
make decisions and learn about practices that have made us successful. You will also
have an opportunity to get to know other new and ongoing Lands' End employees. Our
intention in this series is to help you better understand the company goals and to
support your making a strong individual contribution. You will also have the opportunity
to apply the information that you have learned from the presentations by working
with a small cross-functional group on a customer acquisition project to be presented
to your peers, managers and members of our executive group.
