Of course, we welcome all questions, so if you can't find the answer here, e-mail

one request is that you please keep it short, that way we can get back to you in

Q. How can I get information about Lands' End for a school report?
A. First we recommend checking out the facts that are already on our site
by going to Lands' End...at a glance or to the Lands' End main website. There you
will find quite a bit of our company information, including a timeline of our growth
and development and Annual Report, among other things. Specific financial or strategic
information not published in our Annual Report (say, the future direction of the
Internet, advertising plans, or sales on specific products) is usually considered
proprietary, which is something that we don't release.
If you need hard copies of our published current financial and demographic information,
send your name, address and phone number via email to darunde@landsend.com.
Our Investor Relations Department will mail the information to you.

Q. Is Lands' End involved with community service?
A. We have a corporate giving committee that includes employees who represent
different disciplines with in the company, different communities, and their local
charitable causes. This approach makes sense for us because these people know first
hand what's best for Lands' End and the communities around us.
The categories that we focus on include Education, Community Development, Environment,
Health and Human Services. We fulfill needs within these areas not only by monetary
donations, but by manpower hours as well.

Q. Who is eligible to participate in the internship program?
A. Our internship program is designed for either 2-year or 4-year college
or university students. Students enrolled in a 4-year university must be of Junior

an internship. Students enrolled in a 2-year college must be enrolled in their core
concentration classes and have 1 or 2 semesters remaining before graduation.
For those students that will be graduating, our internship program is still open
to you if you need an internship in order to graduate. If you do not, then most likely
you are seeking full-time employment with us. Please go to Employment
Opportunities to find out what professional openings are available at this time.

Q. I'm interested in your internship program, but I don't attend a school located
near Dodgeville. Do you help students find places to live during their internship?
A. Yes! We have students interning with us that are from all over the United
States and we realize that many of them may have never been to Wisconsin, let alone,
Dodgeville. Our intern coordinator, Stephanie Bennett, will work with all students
to make sure they secure housing for the summer. Our interns choose to either rent
a place in Dodgeville or many find places in Madison which is only approximately
45 minutes away. Madison is a "university town" so there are lots of housing
options available during the summer. Plus, if an intern needs to relocate for the
internship, Lands' End will reimburse them for certain travel expenses such as mileage,
U-haul rental, etc. Plus, we'll even pick up the security deposits on apartments
for those needing to relocate!

Q. I noticed that Lands' End isn't scheduled to visit my school. Will I still
be able to apply for an internship?
A. Certainly! Although we'd love to visit many more schools, we don't have
the resources available to do so. Which is why this website, Direct Experience, was
"born." We wanted to be able to reach out to an many students as we could
to let them know about all the great things Lands' End has to offer!

Q. Do you offer internships to international students?
A. Yes. We consider all students who are authorized to work on a full-time
basis in the United States and we also consider international students who have practical
training eligibility (J-1 visa). However, at this time we cannot sponsor students.
For those students that are in a foreign country and are interested in coming
to the United States for an internship or a full-time opportunity, we work with the
AIESEC program. For more information about this program, please visit their website
at www.aiesec.org.
