Assistant Store Manager
The person in this position is responsible for assisting with all facets of running
a store including merchandising, monitoring inventory levels and accountability for
the store's overall operations and success. This includes assisting the store manager
with recruiting, training, scheduling, motivating, and supporting sales associates.
They are also responsible for assisting with ordering products and merchandising
the store. They are responsible for all store functions in the absence of the Store
Manager.
Qualified candidates must have the following:
- Supervisory experience in a retail apparel setting
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and be self-directed
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelors degree in retail merchandising or equivalent field

Senior Service Associate
This is an entry-level management position and an excellent opportunity for an individual
to gain some hands-on experience in a supervisory role. The person in this position
is responsible for supporting the management team in the day to day planning, coordinating,
control, and direction of the store. Other responsibilities include assisting in
the training and performance development of all staff members. This person assumes
a leadership position within the store.

Operations Apprentice
The Operations Apprentice position is a learning-by-doing, cross functional position
performing in a supervisory role within the operations area at Lands' End. Concurrent
with traditional management responsibilities, the apprentice will participate in
all elements of the apprentice training program which will require considerable time
spent learning in many areas of the company and a wide variety of project assignments
and classroom activities. The program will span approximately 18 months and upon
successful completion of the program, the apprentice should have the potential to
move into a more senior management role.
Qualified candidates must have the following:
- Bachelors degree in related area (business management, operations managemnt,
distribution management, human resource management)
- Demonstrated leadership/management experience
- High level of initiative
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to change (priorities, directions, etc.)
- A genuine enthusiasm towards operations management
